Comments:

After college I taught eighth grade history at Newman Junior High for one year, but lost my job due to teacher staff reductions. From 1974 through 1989, I worked at The Fessenden School in Newton. I taught and most of the time was Assistant Head of School. From there I went to Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH for eight years where I was Dean of Students and Director of School Operations. From 1997-2000 I was Assistant Head of School at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School in Waltham.
In 2000, along with my business partner, we formed Independent Thinking, a firm which works with independent schools throughout the country in placing administrators. Our website is: www.independent-thinking.com
The three schools I worked at were all boarding schools, so in each case I had a house on campus. For the past five years I have been living in Watertown. I also recently bought a house in Wolfeboro, NH.
